On Monday March 15, 2021 at 2:18pm Jefferson County Deputies responded to a report of a shooting in the 500 block of 18th Avenue NW. in Center Point. Deputies arrived and found that a 13 year old male had been wounded by gunfire. The child was transported to the hospital with reported non-life threatening injuries. Deputies and detectives are on the scene interviewing witnesses. We will provide an update when additional information becomes available.
