On Sunday November 10, 2019 at 3:58pm Jefferson County Deputies were dispatched to a home in the 1200 block of Magnolia Place in Center Point to investigate a shooting. Deputies were informed that a 17 year old male had been transported to the hospital in a private vehicle after being shot in the leg. Witnesses report that they were outside of the home when a black Dodge Avenger drove by, stopped and the occupants fired shots at them. The victims injuries do not appear to be life threatening. If anyone has information about this crime they are asked to call the Sheriff’s Office at 205-325-1450.
