Surveillance cameras captured images of two suspects as they burglarized a home in the Rock Mountain Lakes community yesterday morning.

Just after 10:30 yesterday morning deputies responded to a report of a burglary alarm activation at a residence in the 5300 block of Rock Mountain Lake Road. While deputies were on the scene they spoke to the homeowner who told them that she had left only a few minutes before the alarm sounded.

Deputies arrived and checked the home. A window had been broken to gain entry into the home. The suspects had fled before anyone arrived.

The home was equipped with surveillance cameras that captured images of two male suspects in a white Volvo pulling into the driveway and on to the grass. The men got out of the car and approached the front door before walking to the side of the house where the window was broken.

The suspects are described as black males one wearing a black hoodie and jeans and the other wearing a gray sweat suit.

Anyone with information about these suspects is asked to call Detective Barbin at 205-434-9413 or Crime Stoppers at 205-254-7777.
