Shooting at Party in McCalla

On Saturday, October 24, 2020, Jefferson County Sheriff’s Deputies were called to the 4600 block of Rosser Loop Drive to investigate a reported shooting. Once on the scene, deputies found a 16 year old victim who had minor injuries.  It does not appear that anyone was struck by gunfire.

According to reports, the victim had been at a party at the location when an unknown person began shooting. The victim fled the scene in her vehicle until deputies arrived.

The reason for the shooting is unknown at this time. The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office will continue to investigate the incident.
