At about 7:20 this evening deputies were called to the 1400 block of 4th Place NW in Center Point to investigate a report of a traffic accident. They arrived to find a motorcycle and a van involved in the accident. The adult male driver of the motorcycle suffered critical injuries and was pronounced dead on the scene. The adult male driver of the van was not injured.
The Sheriff’s Traffic Accident Reconstruction Team is on the way to the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
