Arrest Made During Narcotics Search Warrant

On December 4, 2023, Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office Vice and Narcotics Division, along with SWAT, executed a search warrant on a residence located in the 1500 Block of Pine Street in Mulga. Jaquan Lamar Mayfield, a 36-year-old male, was charged with Trafficking Fentanyl, Certain Persons Forbidden to Possess Firearms, and Altering a Firearm’s Identification. He was booked into the Bessemer County Jail with bonds totaling $1,030,000. He also arrested on existing failure to appear warrants for Robbery 1, Assault 2, Stalking, and Certain Persons Forbidden to Possess Firearm. Those charges carried no bonds.
