Leon Walker, Jr
On December 18, 2023, Detectives with the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office obtained warrants against 20-year-old Leon Walker, Jr. Walker is the person accused in the December 11, 2023 shooting death of 13-year-old Jonathan Cottingham and 19-year-old Louis Craig IV. According to the investigative reports Walker shot the two victims while they were sitting in a vehicle at the 200 block of Chickasaw Drive near Adamsville. A third juvenile was also inside the vehicle but was able to escape injury.
Walker is wanted on the charges of 2 counts of capital murder, 1 count of attempted murder, 1 count of shooting into an occupied vehicle and 3 counts of reckless endangerment.
