Two People Shot in Center Point

On Wednesday, July 10, 2024, at approximately 11:40 p.m., Jefferson County deputies responded to the 2300 block of Grayson Valley Drive, Birmingham, AL to investigate a report of two people shot.  Upon arrival, deputies discovered a 49-year-old male victim, suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.  Deputies also discovered a 15-year-old female victim, suffering from apparent gunshot wounds as well.

Center Point Fire and Rescue responded to the scene and transported the adult male victim to UAB Hospital and the juvenile female victim to Children’s Hospital.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the case is domestic related.
