On January 15, 2025, Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics detectives conducted an operation in the Bessemer Division of Jefferson County. While in the Brighton area, detectives came into contact with a 37-year-old male and a 34-year-old female in the 1200 block of Cedar Street. The interaction led to the arrest of two suspects.
Suspect #1 has been identified as: Sharron Deet, age, 37. Deet has been charged with Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree; and 2 Counts of Failure to Appear-Felony. The suspect is in the custody of the Jefferson County Jail with no bond.
Suspect #2 has been identified as: Destiney Jones, age, 34. Jones has been charged with Drug Trafficking with a $60,000.00 bond. The suspect has been released from the Jefferson County Jail.
Upon leaving Brighton, detectives focused on the Fairfield area. Detectives tried to initiate a traffic stop on a Black Jeep Wrangler at 34th Street and Avenue G; however, the driver failed to stop and led detectives on a short pursuit that ended at Court R and Avenue S. The driver fled on foot but was quickly apprehended. The female passenger remained at the scene. The traffic stop resulted in the arrest of two suspects.
Suspect #3 has been identified as: Darius Davison, age, 39. Davison has been charged with 3 counts of Drug Trafficking with a bond of $500,000 each; Attempting to Elude with a $30,000.00 bond; and Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree with a bond of $1,000.00. Total bond: $1,531,000.00. The suspect is in the custody of the Jefferson County Jail.
Suspect #$4 has been identified as: an adult female. Detectives will seek warrants for Criminal Mischief 1st Degree; Attempting to Elude; and Felony Giving False Information for this suspect.
Narcotics seized: 63 grams of ecstasy; 50.11 grams of crack cocaine; 24.46 grams of cocaine; 51.67 grams of Methamphetamine; 25.55 grams of Fentanyl/Meth Compound; and 4.82 grams of Marijuana
Vehicle seized: Jeep Wrangler
Weapons seized: Glock Model 27, Smith and WessonSWV40
Money seized: $3,037.00
Additional items seized: Digital scales and packaging material
