Arrest Made at Jefferson County Jail

On Wednesday, August 5, 2026, Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office Jail Staff and Narcotics Detectives conducted an investigation into an allegation that someone was bringing illegal contraband into the Jefferson County Jail.

The result of the investigation led to the arrest of a 69-year-old male.  The suspect was taken into custody without incident.

The suspect has been identified as 69-year-old Glennon Fletcher Threatt.

Threatt has been charged with the following charges:

  • Promoting Prison Contraband 2nd Degree
  • Unlawful Distribution of Controlled Substances (Possession with Intent to Distribute)
  • Possession of a Controlled Substance
  • Drug Trafficking

Total bond: $112,000.

Threatt remains in the Jefferson County Jail.
