On July 28, 2022, warrants were obtained against a 16-year-old male from Pinson. The juvenile has been charged in the July 25th shooting death of 18-year-old, Lacorian Maxwell. Maxwell was shot to death in a vehicle outside his home on Kimberly Loop in Pinson. The juvenile has been placed in the Jefferson County Jail in Birmingham on the charge of Capital Murder and is being held without bond. The circumstances surrounding the shooting are still being investigated by detectives.
