Arrest Made in Shooting Outside High School

After conducting a thorough investigation, detectives with the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office made an arrest in a shooting incident outside of Hueytown High School. The incident occurred Friday night in the school parking lot as patrons were leaving a basketball game.

After presenting evidence to the Jefferson County District Attorney’s Office in Bessemer, warrants were issued against 30-year-old Eunethia Arnette Shackleford.  Shackleford is charged with attempted murder and possession of a deadly weapon on school grounds. She is being held at the Jefferson County Jail in Bessemer on a $67,500.00 bond.
