Birmingham Man Arrested for Trafficking Marijuana

A 31-year-old Birmingham man was arrested at his home Friday after Sheriff’s Narcotics Investigators executed a search warrant.

As part of an ongoing investigation into the sale and distribution of illegal drugs in northeast Jefferson County Sheriff’s Narcotics Investigators executed a search warrant a home in the 800 block of William Drive near Roebuck.

During the search investigators found nearly 2.5 pounds of marijuana, hydrocodone, cash, three handguns, and a rifle.

31-year-old Joshua Blake Kujan was arrested and taken to the Jefferson County Jail. He was charged with Trafficking Marijuana, Unlawful Distribution of a Controlled Substance, and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

In addition to the drug charges Kujan also faces possible federal firearms charges.
