On Sunday March 26th at 10:56am Jefferson County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to investigate a report of a man lying in the roadway near the 1000 block of 5th Avenue in Brighton. The Brighton Fire Department arrived on the scene and attempted life saving measures but were unable to revive the man. Evidence on the scene shows that the body was dumped from a vehicle at that location. The cause and manner of death have not been determined at this time. Sheriff’s investigators are investigating the circumstances surrounding this death.
