On 5-13-2019 at 11:30pm Deputies were alerted to a vehicle fire off he roadway of Arabia Avenue near Jamaica Street in the Edgewater community. The report was that there was a vehicle on fire but after the fire was extinguished a body was found inside the car. The investigation so far does not show any signs of foul play. It appears that the vehicle left the roadway, went through several small trees before the undercarriage of the vehicle struck a cemented manhole cover which penetrated the vehicles gas tank causing it to erupt in flames. The body was released to the Coroners office to determine the official cause of death and identify the driver.
