On February 16, deputies responded to a report of a shooting at 6th Avenue and 4th Street in the Robinwood community. The arrived to find an adult male victim suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. The victim was taken to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Initial information was that the victim had been in the street talking with three men that he knows. One of the men pulled a gun and shot the victim.

The investigation revealed that the victim had been in an argument at his house with 19-year-old Cedric King Jr earlier in the evening over the victim offering marijuana to a female friend. King left the residence and the victim went outside and began walking down the street. King drove up to the victim, got out of his car and fired several shots striking the victim.
