On Friday, November 20, 2020, Jefferson County Sheriff’s detectives were able to obtain warrants against 23 year old Jaylon Smith-George for the shooting death of his father. On November 19, 2020, deputies responded to the 6300 block of North Clubview Circle in Western Jefferson County. Once on the scene they discovered the victim deceased due to multiple gunshot wounds. The cause of the shooting is still under investigation.
Jaylon Smith-George was placed in the Jefferson County Jail on the charge of Murder. His bond is set at $75,000.
