Death Investigation in Sylvan Springs

On Tuesday October 27, 2020 at 4:41pm Jefferson County Deputies were dispatched to a home in the 200 block of Woodland Way in the Sylvan Springs Community to investigate a death.  Deputies arrived at that location and found a deceased 73 year old woman whos body was severely burned.  A family member stopped by the home and found the woman deceased and called authorities.  Deputies were informed that the woman was a smoker and had had physical difficulties in recent days.  No foul play is suspected at this time.  The body was transported to the Jefferson County Coroners Office for examination.
