Deputies find dead body in vehicle on I-22

On 5-12-19 at 2:31pm Jefferson County Deputies responded to a report of a vehicle off the roadway near exit 89 on I-22.  Deputies checked the vehicle and found a unresponsive hispanic woman inside.  Paramedics checked the woman and confirmed that she was deceased.  The body was transported to the Coroners office for examination and determination of cause of death.  Detectives are working with family members to help determine what happened.
