Deputies Investigate Traffic Accident on Highway 79

At approximately 11:20 AM on May 15, 2020, Deputies responded to a traffic accident at the intersection of Highway 79 and Old Bradford Road in Pinson. Upon arrival, Deputies found an automobile had collided with a large truck pulling a trailer.

An adult passenger and a toddler were transported to local hospitals for emergency medical treatment. Their current condition is unknown. The driver of the truck was uninjured.  

The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Traffic Accident Reconstruction Team is investigating this accident.
