At approximately 3:15 PM, Jefferson County Sheriff’s Deputies received a call from a male who stated that he had shot another male. Deputies arrived on scene at the 7500 block of Weems Lane in Clay to find a white male suffering from gunshot wounds. He has been transported to a local hospital for treatment. His condition is unknown at this time.
The suspect has been taken into custody and is being questioned by detectives. This investigation is on-going.
