Detectives Seeking the Public’s Help in August 22nd Shooting

The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help in identifying the whereabouts of the vehicle shown in the above video.  The occupants are suspects in the August 22, 2020 shooting death of 14 year old, Pharrell Jackson and the serious injury of 3 others. According to reports, Jackson was out with others early that morning.  The victims were leaving the Crown Bar and Lounge on 19th Street in Ensley.  The victims may have been followed to the intersection of Allison-Bonnett Memorial Drive and Rutledge Drive in Midfield, where the vehicle seen in the video, is thought to have pulled along side them.  It is believed that the occupants of the pictured vehicle, opened fire on the victim’s vehicle.  Three other occupants were transported to local hospitals with life threatening injuries.  There have been no public updates on their condition.

The suspect vehicle has been described as a silver, 4-door, Nissan with dark tinted windows and a sunroof.  Detectives are asking for anyone with information on the vehicle or the offenders to contact the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office at 205-325-1450.
