The case involving an off-duty Sheriff’s Deputy and the shooting her ex-girlfriend has been sent to a grand jury.

On August 19th deputies were called to investigate a report of a shooting. An adult female caller reported that she had shot someone at her residence. She also reported that she had an Order of Protection against the person who was shot.

Once on scene deputies found a 32-year-old female had been shot. She was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
