On November 7, 2024, detectives with the Jefferson County Vice and Narcotics Division, SWAT team and U.S. Postal Inspection Service, executed two search warrants in the Forestdale area of Jefferson County. The search warrants were for a business, located in the 1900 block of Veterans Memorial Drive and for a residence located in the 800 block of Brandy Circle. The search warrants resulted in arrests and seizures.
Suspect #1 has been identified as: Philmore Ware, age, 41. The suspect has been charged with 2 counts of Drug Trafficking, with a $1,005,000.00 bond. The suspect is in the custody of the Jefferson County Jail.
Suspect # 2 has been identified as: Jakoby Ware, age, 22. The suspect has been charged with Drug Trafficking, with a $1,000,000.00 bond. The suspect is in the custody of the Jefferson County Jail.
Also, the two suspects are related. They are uncle and nephew.
Narcotics seized: 1182 grams of Cocaine, 11.9grams of Marijuana, 158 grams of Gummies, 6.38 grams of Oxycodone, 3.63 grams of Hydrocodone, 19 suboxone strips, and 1.12 grams of Adderall
Weapons seized: S&W MP.45 Caliber, Anderson Manufacturing AR 15, and a Glock 19 9mm
Vehicles seized: 2004 Cadillac Deville and a 2015 Chevy Camaro
Money seized: $5,709.00 in U.S. Currency
Additional items seized: Plastic baggies
