Fourth Suspect Involved in Shooting during Drug Search Warrant Arrested

The fourth suspect involved in a shooting that injured a deputy last week has been arrested. Just before noon today, accompanied by his attorney, 25 year old Dejuan Reshad Dedrick of Birmingham turned himself into the Sheriff’s Office.

An arrest warrant was obtained Friday afternoon charging Dedrick with one count of attempted murder for his involvement in the shooting incident during the execution of a drug trafficking related search warrant last Thursday at a home in the 2900 block of Dowell Avenue SW.

The attempted murder charge has no bond.
