On Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at approximately 2:03 p.m., Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to the 1500 block of Pratt Highway to investigate a report of a person down. Upon arrival, deputies discovered an unresponsive male victim, suffering from an apparent blunt force injury. Forestdale Fire & Rescue responded to the scene and pronounced the victim deceased.
