Homicide Investigation in Center Point

On Friday, August 22, 2025, at approximately 12:19 a.m., Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to the 4000 block of Pinson Valley Parkway to investigate a report of a person shot.  Upon arrival, deputies discovered an unknown male victim, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.  Center Point Fire & Rescue pronounced the victim deceased at the scene.

Deputies also discovered a 34-year-old female victim, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.  Center Point Fire and Rescue transported the victim to UAB Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
