Husband Shot During Early Morning Domestic Violence

At 7:22 AM, on Friday, July 3, 2020, Jefferson County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to the 9500 Block of Cumberland Oaks Drive.  The caller informed dispatch that she had shot her husband.  Deputies arrived to find that 41-year-old Tabitha Hannon Dickey shot her husband in the back.  The husband was no longer on the scene.  Deputies were able to find the victim at a nearby family member’s home, suffering from a gunshot wound.  His injuries appear to be non-life-threatening.

After further investigation, Dickey was placed in the Jefferson County Jail on the charge of domestic violence-attempted murder.  Her bond is set at $30,000.
