Jefferson County Deputies Investigate Traffic Fatality

On Sunday November 24, 2019 at 7:22am Jefferson County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a report of a vehicle off the roadway in the 3300 block of Erwin Dairy Road.  Deputies arrived at that location and found a vehicle off the roadway and down a ravine.  The preliminary investigation shows that the vehicle would have had to go airborne at some point to land where it landed.  The driver was the only occupant in the vehicle and responding paramedics pronounced him deceased on the scene.  The drivers body was transported to the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office for examination.  This accident is still under investigation.
