At approximately 2:30 this afternoon deputies responded to a burglary on Sharon Church Road in Eastern Jefferson County.
When deputies arrived on the scene, a witness provided them with the tag number and a description of the suspect’s vehicle. A few minutes later, another witness advised the sheriff’s office that the suspect vehicle had been spotted at a residence on Smith Mill Road in Blount County.
Deputies went to that location and found the suspect vehicle. Several suspects were taken into custody. The stolen property was recovered at this residence as well.
