Jefferson County Pistol Permit Offices Closed for Training on Monday September 30, 2019

Birmingham, Alabama (Sept. 27) — The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office today announces that residents will only be able to obtain pistol permits at its downtown office located at 2200 Reverend Abraham Woods, Jr. Blvd on Sept. 30.

All other offices that issue the permits will be closed for staff training on Monday, Sept. 30.  All offices will re-open for regular hours, 8:00 am -4:30 pm, and will be issuing permits on Oct. 1.
