Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office Searching for Hit and Run Suspect Vehicle

Around 2:15 PM today, Jefferson County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to the 7000 block of Lock 17 Road to investigate a pedestrian who had been struck and killed by a vehicle.  The suspect vehicle is thought to be a black Ford, F-150, that will have heavy front end damage on the passenger side.  Detectives are on the scene of the hit and run and will continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the event.
