At approximately 3:45 PM today, Jefferson County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to the 5000 block of Parkway in Fairfield on reports of a female who had been shot. The 15-year-old female victim was transported to Children’s Hospital where she later died from her injuries.
A 15-year-old male was arrested and is being held on a Murder charge. No further information regarding the circumstances surrounding this shooting is being released at this time.
