Around 4:40 PM today, Jefferson County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to the 600 block of Jerry D Coleman Street on reports of a person down outside of a residence. Deputies arrived on scene to find an adult male deceased from apparent gunshot wounds.
Detectives have been called to the scene and are currently conducting an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting death.
