Male Shot While Sitting in Driveway in Lipscomb

At approximately 12:50 AM on Tuesday, June 16, 2020, Jefferson County Deputies were called to the 5500 Block of 5th Street in Lipscomb.  They arrived to find a 29-year-old male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.  The victim stated that he had been parked in the driveway at the residence, when he was approached by a black male who fired several shots at him.  The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment where he is listed in critical condition.  The motive for the shooting is unknown at this time, as detectives are continuing the investigation.
