Man Found Dead in Robinwood

On Saturday September 28, 2019 at 2:49am Jefferson County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to investigate suspicious circumstances at a home in the 500 block of 4th Street in the Robinwood community.  Deputies checked the area and found a man deceased in a wooded area near the home.  Evidence on the scene showed that the man had been killed.  Evidence Technicians are processing the scene and Detectives are interviewing possible witnesses.  This death is being investigated as a homicide.  Anyone who has information about this crime is asked to call the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office at 205-325-1450 or Crime Stoppers at 205-254-7777.
