Motorcycle Driver Deceased after Collision with Automobile

At Approximately 12:45 PM on Monday, August 10, 2020, Jefferson County Deputies were dispatched to the intersection of McAshan Drive and Jefferson Metropolitan Parkway in McCalla.  When they arrived they found a Toyota Camry and a motorcycle had collided.  The 22-year-old male driver of the motorcycle was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Traffic Accident Reconstruction Team is investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident.
