Sheriff’s detectives are investigating a murder/suicide in the Bagley Community after a woman was found shot to death.
Just before 8:00 this morning deputies responded to a report of a man with a gun running along Old Bagley Road. As they were searching for him, they received a report that an adult female had been found shot inside a vehicle at a residence in the 8500 block of Old Bagley Road. Deputies arrived at that location And found a woman dead on the scene.
While on scene an adult male called into 911 and admitted that he had shot the victim. He gave his location at a residence in the 5000 block of Cindy Lane before disconnecting the call. When Deputies arrived they located the male caller inside the home, dead from what appeared to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Info was relayed that the couple had just ended a relationship.
