Narcotics and Firearms Seizure

On September 17, 2024, members of the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division were conducting a detail in the Pratt City/Ensley area.  Detectives previously received citizen complaints regarding drug sales and violent crime in the area.  Detectives conducted a traffic stop on a Chevrolet Trax at 18th Avenue and Avenue V.  The traffic stop resulted in the arrest of the driver and a seizure of narcotics and firearms.

The suspect has been identified as: Willie Mullins Jr., age 45. The suspect has been charged with: Drug Trafficking with a $100,000.00 bond; Unlawful Distribution of a Controlled Substance with a bond of $60,000.00 bond; Certain Persons Forbidden to Possess a Pistol, with a $15,000.00 bond; Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree, with a bond of $500.00; and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, with a $500.00 bond.  Total bond: $176,000.00.  The suspect is in the custody of the Jefferson County Jail.

Drugs seized: 20.39 grams of Cocaine, 7 grams of Marijuana, and 2 grams of Fentanyl

Money seized: $1,525.00

Weapons seized: Glock 47 9mm (Stolen), and a Taurus 9mm

Additional items seized: Plastic Baggies, and Digital Scale
