On December 2, 2020 at approximately 8:50 AM, Jefferson County Deputies were called to the scene of an accident where a vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree near the intersection of Westridge Drive and Eastridge Road. A 24 year old female was found in the vehicle. She was transported to a local hospital but did not survive her injuries.
The Jefferson County START Team is investigating the cause of the accident.
