Around 8:45 PM on Saturday, April 3, 2021, Jefferson County Sheriff’s Deputies received a call of a person who was down near 5th Avenue in Lipscomb. Upon arrival, deputies located the body of a deceased black male. It appeared that the male was a pedestrian who had been struck by a vehicle.
