On Sunday, October 13, 2024, at approximately 1:46 a.m., Jefferson County deputies responded to the 900 of block 9th Street, Midfield Alabama to investigate a report of a person shot. Upon arrival, deputies discovered a 22-year-old male victim, suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Midfield Fire & Rescue responded to the scene and transported the victim to UAB Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
