This morning, at approximately 12:45 a.m., Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to the Bama Gas Station, located at 1100 Center Point Parkway, to investigate a report of a person shot. Upon arrival, deputies discovered that an adult male suspect, left the scene and went to the parking lot of the InTown Suites, located at 1100 Huffman Road, Birmingham, AL. Center Point Fire & Rescue arrived at the InTown Suites parking lot and transported the suspect to U.A.B. Hospital for apparent gunshot wounds. Reportedly, the suspect’s injuries were non-life threatening. Deputies also discovered that an adult male victim left the scene of the Bama Gas Station as well. It is unknown if the victim was injured.
