Reward Offered for Information in Shooting of Fairfield Teen

A $5,000 reward is being offered by the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office for information leading to the arrest of the person responsible for shooting 17-year-old Zo Shauka as he lay in his bed.

In the early morning hours of July 20, 2018, Shauka was struck by a gunshot that was fired from outside his home in Fairfield. The shot came through the window and hit him as he was sleeping. He suffered serious injuries and was taken to an area hospital.
