The wife of a man charged in the April 13, murder of Jeremy Davis has now also been charged with murder and robbery for her role in the shooting.
38-year-old Jeremy Davis was shot and killed on April 13, 2018. Information at the time was that Davis had been driven to a house on Salina Avenue by a man he had just sold marijuana to. When they arrived on Salina Avenue, Horace Jackson walked up and shot Davis several times. Jackson then robbed the driver before telling him to put Davis back in the car and drive away.
The driver went to Midfield Police Department. Jeremy Davis was pronounced dead on the scene. Once Midfield police learned that the shooting happened in unincorporated Jefferson County they notified the Sheriff’s Office.
Detectives discovered that the wife of Horace Jackson, 24-year-old Courtney Carson Jackson participated in the crime. On May 8, 2018 detectives obtained arrest warrants charging her with Capital Murder and Robbery 1st Degree. She was arrested this morning and remains in the Jefferson County Jail with bond set at $135,000.
