Sheriff’s Investigation leads to arrest of Drug Dealer

On Wednesday May 15, 2019 Sheriff’s Narcotics investigators arrested 26 year old James Leanard Matthews for dealing drugs in the Pratt City area.  After investigation, Sheriff’s Investigators tracked and located James Matthews near the 100 block of Avenue Z and found him to be in possession of 16.9 grams of heroin, 17.9 grams of methamphetamines,  a Glock pistol and a AR15 rifle.  Matthews is being held for Trafficking Heroin bond $30,000.00, Possession with intent to sell Methamphetamines bond $20,000.00, Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia bond $300.00 and Carrying a Pistol without license bond $300.00.  Narcotics Investigators seized the items shown in the photo.  This investigation is ongoing and more arrest are possible in connection with this offense.
