Sheriff’s Office Investigating McCalla Home Invasion

Just after 5:30 pm on May 6 deputies were called to a home in the 5900 block of Eastern Valley Road to investigate a report of a robbery in progress. They arrived and spoke to the 63 year old male victim who reported that two black male suspects had robbed him of his wallet phone and keys. The suspects were reportedly armed, one with a knife and the other with a gun.

The victim told deputies that he had been outside his house working on a cabinet when the suspects pulled into the driveway. He asked them if he could help them and one of the suspects pointed a gun at him. The suspects ordered him into his house and made him lay on the floor. The suspect with the knife approached the victim’s 86 year old mother and told her to remain still and be quiet.

The suspects searched through the house and took the wallet keys and cell phone from the victim before leaving. No one was injured during the robbery.

The suspect vehicle is described a gold mid-sized four door sedan. The suspect with the knife is described as a black male 6 feet tall weighing 160 pounds. The suspect with the gun is described as a black male 5 feet 8 inches tall weighing 170 pounds. Both were wearing a dark t-shirt and dark jeans.

Deputies searched the area for the suspects, but they were not located.
