Just before 6:00 pm on June 19 deputies were called to the 1100 block of Pebble Creek Parkway to investigate a report of a person being shot. They arrived to find a 22 year old male victim suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to the hospital. His injury is not life threatening.
Information at the scene is that the victim and another man were gambling outside of one of the apartments. The victim and the suspect got in to an argument over winnings. As the victim walked away the suspect pulled out a handgun and shot him. The suspect fled in a black Ford Mustang before deputies arrived.
