Just after 9:30 this morning deputies responded to a report of two people being shot at a residence in the 6500 block of Clay Palmerdale Road. They arrived to find an adult male and an adult female suffering from gunshot wounds. The male was taken to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The female also had non-life threatening injuries and was treated by paramedics. She was not taken to the hospital.
Information on the scene is that the victims and the shooter are former friends. They have been involved in an ongoing feud for several weeks. This morning the shooter and the male had an argument. The shooter produced a handgun and started shooting. Both the male and female were struck. The suspect fled the scene before deputies arrived.
The suspect is described as a white male, 5’09” tall weighing 170 pounds. He has brown hair and hazel eyes. He is driving a 1994 black Chevrolet pickup truck.
