On April 10, deputies responded to a report of a burglary at a residence in the 6900 block of Lou George Loop in McCalla. The victim reported that, while he and his wife were at work, someone forced open the door of their home and stole checks, credit cards, and a shotgun.

Detectives learned that one of the credit cards had been used at a CVS, a Walgreen’s, and a McDonald’s in the Pelham and Alabaster area. They were able to obtain surveillance photos from the Walgreen’s showing the suspects with the stolen credit card.

Anyone with information about the identity of these suspects is asked to call Sgt. Curry with the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office at 205-481-8011 or Crime Stoppers at 205-254-7777.
